Sandhill Pines is a Privately Owned, heavily treed 45 acre campground conveniently located 35 minutes North of the Perimeter with easy access via paved roads.

Sandhill Pines has just 60 campsites, but it is big on comfort. 

Our  large Clubhouse is perfect for social events and pot luck dinners. Within the Clubhouse are a lounge with satellite television, pool table, shuffleboard, ping pong, small gymnasium and dart board. 
 Every Campsite and all facilities are serviced with regularly tested Chlorinated Water.

Outdoors we have a mini-putt, pool, a volley ball court and horse shoe pitch as well as over 8,000 acres of Provincial Forest that has many walking trails hosting  a variety of wildlife, birds and flora, including rare orchids. 

In order to preserve the ideal camping atmosphere, quads and dirt bikes are not permitted on the grounds. Respect for each other, nature and our campground are important values of our residents.

History Tidbits
Why we are the one of the driest campgrounds in Manitoba !

Sandhill Pines is actually located on a (Dry) Beach. During the last Ice Age, when the water receded some 8,000 year ago, raised beaches formed.  Our campground is on a sand beach ridge from the vanished glacial Lake Agassiz, yet we are miles from a lake.

The benefit of this historic event is that when it rains or pours, the rainfall dissipates immediately into the soil, leaving you wondering if you imagined the storm. 

This also explains the presence of huge granite boulders dropped like a giant’s marbles throughout the property.
